Born a very young man in the hills of Santa Monica CA, Barry soon after, moved with his parents to a suburb in Pasadena, where a fenced yard kept Barry busy digging for hours on end.

In Kindergarten, Barry discovered canned peas, and tended to decorate most of class mates in green, thus forgoing all napping privileges. He made up for this loss ten-fold, in his later adult life.

14 years later, when he was in third grade, Barry built a robot made out of a card board box that dispensed candy on Halloween. He put on puppet shows for the neighborhood kids and had thriving guppy business on the side. In his spare time, Barry would lock himself in his room and pretend he was Soupy Sales, minus the pie.

In college, Barry made a decision; he would explore truth and the meaning of life for a career.

And to make a long story short, 40 years later Barry has found himself a vital member of the Barry Rich and Lisa radio program. His search for truth had come to end for the time being, happy to be sharing humor along with his fellow radio personalities, Rich Johnson and Lisa Bowman.
